Cyber Security Month 2018 - Present - Online Courses

Hi there People,

It's October! The month of Cyber Security. There are some critical basics you'll need to learn to stay safe online.

I've put together a list of courses, with exams and you can connect them with social media such as twitter / linkedin and so forth brought to you by a fantastic community: Cybrary.IT

It's one of the basics sites you can get your IT knowledge from. From user to Professional. Be sure to look into this site and only give your opinion afterwards. It's really worth it and you'll learn what you need to, to stay safe in this online world of threats, but also certainly good things. Having a pleasent internet experience is great, but you also need to protect yourself. Same goes for crossing the street. You got your day to day life, and your online life. You need to protect both.

Here's the list I've provided for you to take. If you do not wish to do an exam, because you are to afraight you might fail, don't be. As long as you follow it and don't take the exam, you've learned something allready. Nobody's has to feel ashamed. When you do not learn, you know nothing. When you don't try, you missed out. When it's not your priority, you'll loose someday. Get it right.

This course is designed with the end-user in mind, and serves as the ideal starting point for anyone looking to enter the cyber security field and ultimately raise their threat awareness. Through this curriculum, you will learn the differences between the security considerations for personal and work devices and the importance of following company policy when using personal devices at work. You will also gain a thorough understanding of what device permissions are and how/when to use them to keep your mobile device free of malware.
